The Minnekota Circuit, including member congregations in Minnesota and South Dakota, is working hard to plan the 61st Annual LWMS Convention. We are excited to welcome you to Sioux Falls, South Dakota!

Sioux Falls has many family-friendly activities, including museums, parks, 29 miles of paved bike trails, and the Great Plains Zoo. We encourage you to take in the Sculpture Walk in downtown Sioux Falls, located only 3.5 miles from the Convention Center. Enjoy shopping indoors at the Empire Mall or check out boutiques while you stroll downtown. With over 700 restaurants, offering Mediterranean, Thai, Indian, African, Brazilian, and Irish food and more, it is certain you will find your favorite dish in Sioux Falls. Tourism representatives from Experience Sioux Falls will be available at the convention Courtesy Desk to answer your questions.

As always, the convention will inspire. It will center on 1 Peter 2:5, which reminds us that we “like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house.” Worship with more than one thousand sisters and brothers in Christ. Our WELS Home and World Missions administrators, featured missionaries, workshop presenters, and “Moments with Missionaries” will highlight where and how the soul-saving gospel message is being spread worldwide! Our faith will be strengthened as we hear God’s Word preached at the devotions and opening and closing services. In addition to the 62nd LWMS Annual Convention invitational and LWMS Board skits, entertainment Saturday night will include The Divers from Mankato, Minnesota.
