Clear Bag Policy & Cashless Venue
For all ticketed events, Denny Sanford PREMIER Center has a Clear Bag Policy in place. Our venue is also cashless to speed up the transaction times for purchases and get fans back to the action faster!
Denny Sanford PREMIER Center has a clear bag policy in place for all ticketed events to ensure the safety of all patrons and employees. Additionally, this policy serves to speed up check-in times for guests.
Opaque bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will not be allowed in our venue. Patrons who are in possession of items that are larger than this bag size shall be denied entry. Under no circumstances will an employee accept a bag for “safe keeping”, take possession of any such bag or otherwise control such bag. Unattended or abandoned items will be promptly discarded.
Guests may enter the building with a clear one (1) gallon zipper lock type bag. A clear stadium bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” is an acceptable alternative to the zipper lock type bag. Tinted bags are not permitted. Clear bags may be purchased for $5 from our box office, but cannot be used to store other bags not in compliance with this policy.
Ticketed guests are permitted to bring in one (1) bag only.
Clutch bags, fanny packs, and over-the-shoulder packs, (4.5” x 6.5” or smaller) that have a single over the shoulder, or cross-body strap that are made of a canvas, nylon, or leather material are permitted. Chain straps are not allowed.
Diaper bags must also abide by the terms of the venue's Clear Bag Policy. If nursing equipment is needed during the event that does not fit within the clear bag, it may be brought in a different bag. That bag must be notified to and searched by security personnel and tagged as a medical bag.
Guests who have coordinated a birthday party event with one of the tenant organizations, may bring gifts as a part of that event. All gifts must be unwrapped for inspection. Guests should be encouraged to bring gifts in a gift bag.
All bags are subject to search.
If you have items that qualify as a medical necessity, these will be allowed inside the building. We understand that not all medical devices fit into the bag policy, and some have their own bags/containers. Please notify security personnel of these belongings upon entering our facility so they can be properly screened and tagged.
If you have a question about what you need to bring – please call (605) 367-7288 and someone will be happy to answer your questions. Please understand that any bags containing medical necessity equipment are still subject to search.
Payments may be made by check, credit card or ACH. Our concession stands and bars are all cashless to help reduce wait times and get guests back to the action faster. Our concession stands, operated by OVG Hospitality accept all major debit/credit cards along with Google, Samsung, and Apple Pay. Most event merchandise stands will accept cash, along with our KELOLAND Box Office. ATMs are located near our box office and at several locations throughout our concourses.
Security Screening at Events
For most ticketed events at Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, security checkpoints will be utilized. Security staff will be inspecting bags in accordance with the venue's Clear Bag Policy and patrons will walk-through metal detectors to ensure that prohibited items do not enter the facility. If needed, secondary screenings with a security wand will be utilized.
Items brought in for medical purposes should be provided to security personnel upon entering the facility to be properly tagged and inspected.
Any items prohibited by the tour or venue's prohibited item policy will not be permitted. Unattended personal belongings at events will be promptly removed and discarded for safety and security purposes.
Our venue does not allow any professional video or photography equipment through security for most touring events. Digital point-and-shoot cameras without detachable lenses are permitted. The photo and video policy is subject to change on an event-by-event basis per requests by the tour.
Signs and posters larger than 8.5"x11" or that contain inappropriate or obscene messaging will not be permitted in our facility.
Sign policies are subject to change on an event-by-event basis dependent on tour/client approval.

Towing of vehicles left unattended overnight are subject to the owner’s expense.
