(Sioux Falls, SD) - SMG, the worldwide leader of public assembly facility management, announces the selection of Mike Krewson as the General Manager for the SMG-managed Denny Sanford PREMIER Center (comprised of the newer PREMIER Center, Convention Center, and Arena), Orpheum Theater Center, and Sioux Falls Stadium in Sioux Falls, SD.
“We are excited to have Mike join our team in Sioux Falls,” said Leonard Bonacci, SMG’s Regional Vice President. “Mike has over 25 years of industry experience and knowledge on both the content and venue management sides of our industry. This unique experience mix will be useful in building upon the high level of success we have enjoyed in Sioux Falls.”
Krewson was most recently the General Manager of the SMG-managed 45,000-seat McLane Stadium at Baylor University in Waco, TX. Under this position, he was responsible for booking, stadium management, and budgeting, as well as developing and maintaining relationships within the community. Beyond his time in Waco, Krewson’s years of venue and event knowledge have made him a leader within the SMG team and will be a valuable asset to the Sioux Falls venues.

Prior to joining SMG, Krewson served as Director of Touring for TNA Wrestling in Nashville, TN and prior to that, served as Assistant General Manager of the DeSoto Civic Center in DeSoto, TX. He also served as Event Manager of the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, SC and The Pyramid Arena in Memphis, TN. Krewson began his career with Walt Disney World in Orlando FL as a member of their Guest Relations Department.
Krewson is originally from Sacramento, CA and is a graduate of the Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
